Tony quinn died on 19th feb 2000 just 40 yrs old. Tony hadnt worked for a long while through to different illnesses but when he did work he worked in the co-op which was in kirkby on the fruit and veg department ,he was a quiet sort of fella kept himself to himself unless he was with people who he did know and become friends with then he was chatty and funny. He lived in northwood in kirkby by himself but had 1 son mark who use to come and stay with him a few times a week. He had 3 sisters and 2 brothers of which 1 of his brothers sadly died in 1991 in a road accident ,tony had been through the mill were sickness and illness was concerned, he'd had quite a few operations some major and some minor but always pulled through. I think when he died his body had had enough and it was his time to go, he was free from all the pain, he was a good brother and listener but never mixed with us on family get togethers because he liked to be at home with his own home comforts, we all miss him and know he is at peace god bless lad xxxx
